How we got here

Pet Services demo started in 2014 with one room, three dogs, and the conviction that pet care could be done without cages, without rotating contractors, and without rushing. Maya is a former veterinary technician; Dev came from running an independent bookshop. Eleven years later we’re 28 people, four service lines, a small good shop, and 4,200+ pet families who trust us.

What we believe

• Animals first, profit second. Every decision passes through this filter. We turn down services we can’t do well; we’ll postpone if your pet’s not ready.
• Same staff who know your pet. No rotating contractors. Your groomer, daycare handler, vet have been with us for years. Some pets have had the same handler for their entire visiting life.
• Cage-free, force-free. Always. Our trainers are CCPDT-certified positive-reinforcement only. Our groomers don’t use cages. The vet is Fear-Free certified.
• Neighbourhood-anchored. Single location. We’re your neighbours. We’ll never franchise; we won’t open a second location until we’re sure we can keep this one as good.

What we won’t do

• Cages for grooming or boarding. We’ve never used them; we never will.
• Punishment-based training. Not even “balanced”. Force-free only.
• Sell breeders’ puppies. We host adoptions only.
• Stock products we wouldn’t use ourselves. Our shop is intentionally small.
