The work behind the numbers

Closed-loop coolant

Coolant + cutting oil reclaimed in-house since 2019. Filtration + decanting bay reduces fresh-coolant purchase ~78%. Pays for itself every 14 months.

On-site solar

1.4 MW rooftop PV installed 2022. Covers ~38% of facility load on average; up to 92% on peak summer Sundays. Surplus exported.

Water reclaim

Coolant-mist wash water reclaimed via 3-stage filtration. Discharge water tested monthly; well below permit thresholds on every metric.

VFD + heat-recovery

Compressors + extraction on VFD since 2020. Heat from compressor stage fed into building HVAC. ~340 MWh/yr avoided.

ISO 14001 audited

External audit annually by SGS. Last audit (Mar 2025): zero non-conformances. Internal audit cadence is quarterly across all departments.

Customer-level reports

Customers over $250k/yr can request a per-shipment carbon estimate based on machine-hours + alloy. Pulled from MES, not industry averages.
