Three squads. One identity. Promoted, sustained, and on the rise.

The senior 1st earned promotion. The U16s reached a regional cup semi-final. The U13s held mid-table in their hardest league for a decade. Different stories, same way of playing.

End of season, all squads

Senior 1st — promoted

The story of the season. We started at 11/2 to be relegated; we finished as runners-up. Six straight wins through January and February did the heavy lifting; a 3-1 win over Hillside on the last weekend of April sealed it. Aisha Okonkwo finished as the division’s top scorer with 22. Reza Esfahani made his 184th senior appearance.

U16s — regional cup semi-final

A different kind of season. The U16s won the league title in 2023/24 and started this season with the same group, plus three promotions from the U13s. Inconsistent in the league (mid-table) but excellent in cup competition — semi-finalists in the regional cup, beaten only by an ECNL-affiliated side. Ollie Tan’s squad is the heart of next season’s pathway into the senior development squad.

U13s — mid-table in a hard league

The U13s moved up to the regional development league at the start of the season. We told the parents to expect 7 wins from 22; they finished with 9. Priya Ramesh’s group lost the foundation-phase fluency once or twice early on, then found it. Three players had IDP-noted breakthroughs. Two earned U16 promotions for next season.

What stayed the same

The way we played. Senior, U16, U13: same shape, same out-of-possession discipline, same patience in possession. We don’t play long; we don’t scrap; we don’t panic when we lose the first goal. Three different age groups doing the same thing is what a club is. We’re proud of that.

What we’re working on for 2025/26

  • Senior 1st: consolidating in the higher division. Squad depth at full-back is the open question.
  • U16s: retaining the squad through the gap year. Three players are on the cusp of senior football.
  • U13s: integrating six new players from the U12 group. The S&C transition is the big change.
  • Coaches: two more Level 3 progressions in flight. Sam Lindqvist completing UKSCA Stage 2.

Pre-season starts 14 July. Open trials run 17 May for any new senior or development-squad players. Thank you to every parent, partner, and member who made the season possible. We’ll see you Saturday.

New players welcome at open trials.
