How to measure

Measure around the fullest part, under the arms. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

Measure at the natural waist — usually the narrowest point, just above the navel.

Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of a well-fitting pair of trousers to the ankle.

From centre back of neck, across the shoulder, down the outside of the arm to the wrist bone.

From the bony point of one shoulder, across the back, to the bony point of the other.

Measure around the fullest part of the hips, usually 8–9 inches below the natural waist.
