What we actually build with.

Every project starts in the material library. The samples below are a slice of what we routinely specify and where we source from.

Structure + envelope

Custom brick blends from Belden, Glen-Gery, and Watsontown. Locally fired where possible. Ridgeway 50/50 our most-spec’d blend.

Mostly local Quikrete + GMA mixes. Fly-ash supplemented where exposure allows. Custom form-board for board-formed finishes.

Structural by Riverside Steel (NJ). Decorative + custom by our in-house fabricator. Hot-rolled stock kept at the studio.

Corten A from Pittsburgh Steel. Weathered samples kept at the studio — we’ll show you 6/12/24 month examples before you commit.

Maibec eastern white cedar. Pre-stained or natural-weathering. Sourcing from Maine + Quebec mills.

Zincalume + zinc + copper from MetalWorks (Long Island). 16 oz copper for landmarks projects; pre-weathered options for everywhere else.

Salvaged from regional barns + warehouses. Big River Industries (PA) is our main supplier; lots reserved at any time.

Lime + American Clay finishes. Carlos and his team handle every plaster job in-house. Levels 4 + 5 finishes available.

Mostly Sun Valley Bronze + Nanz. We have showrooms-worth of samples in our library — come visit if you’re specifying.
